    Default Memorial Day

Just came back in from the INSCOM Memorial Day ceremony, and I wanted to take this moment to express my own appreciation for all those who have made that ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
"...that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to taht cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion - that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain...." Abraham Lincoln.

So, as a retired military member who came through being placed in harm's way with only bumps and bruises, I want to thank all those who have sacrificed life, limb, functionality, whatever, for your service. To the family members, thank you for the dedication and devotion of your loved ones. To my missing friends and comrades, you are missed.

For those friends and Brothers I have lost lost along the way...to their families...I salute you, I thank you, and I remember...

My hats off to all those who serve, and for those who have shed their blood in the past so we could all play with little plastic men in relative peace! I have the upmost respect for those who sacrifice for their homeland. Even if I don't agree with the politics behind some of the recent involvements of the U.S. the guys and gals in uniform have my prayers and best wishes.
