Alright guys us staff have received some flack about this and now it is time for us to get serious with you. If you have already updated your profile then we appreciate it and thank you.

Everyone here needs to make sure their profile information is filled out. As for the concern about privacy and your personal information, we have discussed this in depth and have decided that all we ask you to have filled out is your location (ex. City/country/state or province) and your first name and first initial of your last name (ex Patrick E).

Now we are going to give everyone a grace period to have this updated until Jan.9 2010. Anyone that does not have this info updated and has been on the site (we track this) after this date will be given an infraction.

This is not something we want to do but because of the scammers that have come here in the past we need to do this. This is a way to protect yourselves and others by making scammers more aware that we can find them should they scam someone. An example of how this will help is that you can check their shipping address when you make a trade to their profile info and you will have a good idea if they are trying to take you or not. A big-time indicator is if these 2 pieces of info differ. Now if you do have a legitimate concern about htis please feel free to post in this thread or contact any of the Moderators, Tesla, or Redstarone.

Thanks for being an important part of this community and we all look forward to working with everyone now and in the future to make this a much better site.

I listed my correct info when I made my account. The only thing that is off is the system is listing my middle initial instead of the first letter of my last name. I went in to edit this but that field doesn't come up. Or I'm just being not getting it because I've been up for 18 hours.

There is no edit icon next to my actual name in the edit features. I clicked on the others to see if they would take me to an edit all page, but this did not happen.

That worked last night. Now for the life of me the real name area isnt there. Ill get it fixed today.
