Help with Trading.

Okay, so I want to trade some of my stuff, but I am unsure about how to do this without getting scammed.

I want to trade alot of Eldar stuff I have that is either New In Boxes (NIB - Correct?) or New in Boxes that have been opened.

I would like to trade this stuff for Space Marine items, or Chaos Space Marine items - as those are the two armies my son likes. I am so behind on my Tyranids, that I will not get to my Eldar in a long time, so rather than go and spend another 1000 dollars on an army, I am hoping to trade it for the stuff my son wants.

Any help would be appreciated.

Myself, and Jasonlewis, are the admins in charge of helping people have smooth and successful trades.

The most important aspect of a successful trade is communication. If you are ever uncomfortable with just sending private messages, feel free to share IM client usernames, and we've even had people share phone numbers. Whichever way you like, be sure to have clear and consistent, and honest communication.

Also, always ask for and provide pictures so everyone knows exactly the condition of the models, but also it proves that the person actually has the models.

Another way is when you get down to actually shipping, ask for tracking number(it costs $0.70 so there is no excuse not to get it.)

Also, see if they have references via our iTrader rating, or through their other site references. And you can gauge the members also by their forum activity. If they have a good number of posts that aren't just in dealing with trades, good chance you have someone who is not a scammer. Not always the case, but it helps, I think, the trade feel more comfortable because you see they are active on the site in other aspects.

Also, if you still feel uncomfortable, feel free to send a private message to any of the admins(orange names) or Tesla and we could provide some assistance in letting you know if we have had any problems with the trader, etc.

You can upload them as an attachment, it should be seen under the area where you type the text for your posts.

But, that said, photobucket is free and easy to use. I highly recommend it, if only to make things easier.
