Special Edition Codex?
Well lately, I found a special edition space marine codex on ebay.
I have never heard of such a thing before. And can not find any information online about it. The seller says he got it at the white dwarf 30th aniversery party.
So, is this real? If so anyone got any information on it?

Never heard of it, though it might just be a standard codex wich was given free at the aprty, with a stamp "special edition" and nothing more. Maybe more fluff. The only advice i coudl give you is to ask for pictures

If it has a black hardcover its probly the special edition sm codex that came out with 4th edition. nothing new on the inside but it does nice black and silver cover art. the store I worked at had one when I first started there. I forgot how much we were selling it for tho.
IIRC, they were selling for around $75 new in 2004 or 2005. As Afrik said, 4th edition 'dex inside, and leather-like hardcover binding.
