gadzooks March Competition entry

Here are the starting pics for my March entry

1 Genestealer squad (5-10) Going with just the minimum of 5 since I know I wont do 10 to a decent standard.


These models currently have sand on the base, I know the rules say no basing ~ But I got the stealers based and snded already, hopefully since its not a decorative base this wont disqualify me.

Yea, Still gonna paint em up and post pics while i go.

Guess i could chip off all of the sand with a knife, the genestealers are such a poor pose tho so its rough to even touch the models without the ankles breaking.

Well, their maximum size is 20, not 10, but that is irrelevant for this competition. BTW, it said "5 or minimum size, wichever is higher", and their minimum size is 5, so you're ok.

Ah silly me, I was planning to ymgarl them out so was looking at that entry instead of the normal troops choice.

Why ygmarl them out? why didn't you just glue the cthulu heads on them? :D

Well i got a package in the mail last week, I just havent had the time to use them yet.

And I got about 99% of my genestealers from craigslist and ebay, So they all came primered or just plastic but all put together :/ No scything talon stealers for me :(

So i figured the painting comp will give me a good reason to lop off their heads !
